Common Failures

These are some common failures which may cause the pipeline to stall.

Not authorised to submit to printer - check token not expired or superseded  The token has expired.
Create a new token.
Content of file filename.pdf is known This source has Reject Duplicates? enabled. The file shown has similar properties to a file already processed.
Job file filename.pdf no longer present
Failed to move jobs files to failed archive
During processing Docbox File Agent detects a file and then monitors the file to check it is stable and is complete – for example no more data is being written to it before passing it to Docbox server. 
This failure happens because the file has been removed from the source folder after DFA has detected it but before DFA can send to Docbox.
If the source has Archive Failures enabled, the second message will also be issued since DFA cannot archive a file that has been removed.
File filename.pdf has changed state Docbox File Agent has detected that the file's status has changed since it was detected.
This message may be issued for many reasons including
  • if you attempt to send the same file from the same source to multiple destinations.
  • if you rename a file that is from a job in Accepted state
