In day to day operations, you may need to print directly from your PC / laptop. Docbox Print Driver enables you to print directly from your PC to Docbox.

The print driver may have been installed by your IT department as part of your organisation's normal build and deployment process.

To use the print driver you need to be logged into Docbox.

Docbox will prompt you to login

  • on PC start-up
  • if you attempt to print and you are not logged in
  • if your session has expired (refer to Session Longevity‍)

You should login using your normal network credentials.

Printer Selection

When you print to Docbox, it will ask you to select the printer you wish to use from a list of printers that you have access to. Each printer has different characteristics. For example you may have a printer that supports colour, another that sends documents 1st class. This access is controlled by your organisation.

If you will always use the same printer, you may find it useful to set this as your default printer within Docbox. This can be changed at any time.
