Stationery

Stationery overlays are PDF files that are applied as a background layer when a job is printed. They are typically used for letterheads, footers, or pre-designed page backgrounds, allowing documents to be printed on plain paper stock whilst retaining a branded appearance. Stationery is assigned to a printer in the Stationery section of the printer configuration, where separate overlays can be defined for the initial sheet and continuation sheets. You can manage stationery records via Control Panel > Stationery.

The Administrator and Control Panel roles can view stationery records. Only Administrators can create or modify them.

A stationery file must be the same dimensions as the paper stock assigned to the printer it will be used with.

Name A unique name for the stationery record.
Revision Code A reference to help you track versions of this stationery file. This is free text and defined by you, for example v1, 2026-05, or any reference that is meaningful to your organisation. If you update the stationery file, updating the Revision Code helps you confirm which version is currently in use.
