Delivery services define the postal options available for your printers -- for example, 1st Class, Economy, or DSA. Each printer is assigned a single delivery service, which tells your output channel how to handle and post completed jobs.
Navigate to Control Panel > Delivery Services to manage delivery service records.
The Administrator and Control Panel roles can view delivery services. Only Administrators can create or modify them.
What are delivery services and why do they matter?
When a print batch is sent to your output channel, the delivery service assigned to the printer determines which postal product is used to fulfil those jobs. The available services depend on what your output channel account is configured to support -- you can only define services that have been agreed with CFH. If you define a service that your output channel does not recognise, jobs may not be processed correctly.
The Provider Ref. is the critical field. It must match exactly the value your output channel expects to receive -- this is the code that tells CFH how to handle and despatch the batch. The Name is simply the label displayed within Docbox and can be set to whatever makes sense for your team. Both values are agreed with CFH when your account is configured.
Caution
Delivery service records are assigned to printers. Changing or deleting a record will affect every printer it is assigned to. Check your printer assignments before making any amendments.

Adding a new delivery service
Click Add New Delivery Service at the bottom of the left panel. Enter the Name and Provider Ref., then click Save.
Deleting a delivery service
Select the record and click Delete. If the delivery service is currently assigned to one or more printers, it cannot be deleted until those assignments are removed.
