  • Email Notifications
    • Docbox can now send email notifications when a job is cancelled or deleted. The email will be sent immediately to the job owner.  
  • Reports
    • A new Event Log report has been added. This will show when a print job was deleted and who has performed the delete action. 
    • Reports now have a limit of 1,048,576 rows.
  • Dashboard 
    • The main menu now uses icons.
    • Job details now includes the paper size of the job’s document in addition to the paper size of the printer.
  • Bug Fixes 
    • Limit of 28 days of data in dashboard has been removed. 
    • Limit of 28 days of data in reports has been removed. 
Nov 2022 Docbox File Agent (0.25)
  • In Jobs, the Job status of "Pending" has been renamed to "Waiting".
  • This release improves the handling of jobs that are in waiting status. If a file is removed or renamed when it is in waiting status, the pipeline will no longer be stalled. Once a job has moved to accepted status any actions will result in the pipeline stalling. 
  • The main menu now uses icons.
Aug 2022 Print Driver (1.2.12)
  • Bug fixes for the following issues:
    • Intermittently, for some users, files were disappearing after being sent to Docbox via the print driver. These files never reached Docbox and were not processed.
    • A diagnostic log file was being created without diagnostics being enabled. This log impacted performance. 
    • Large files containing images were being truncated.
Aug 2022 Print Driver (1.2.9)
  • The print driver now checks that the PDF being sent to print contains the same number of pages as the original document. If there is a mismatch, an error message will be issued and the document will not be sent to Docbox for processing.

July 2022 Docbox (0.68)
  • Dashboard
    • There is a new Type column. This can be individual, parent or child.
    • There is a new Action column. This allows access to Job Details, the pdf and child jobs via ⋮  on the job record.
    • Any jobs with issues are indicated by red in the Status column. The type icon will also be shown as red.
    • Successfully completed jobs are indicated via a green icon in the type column.
    • The owner field tooltip now includes the user's name, their userid and department if available.
    • Help centre has been added as a link in the menu.
  • Split Job Improvements
    • The main dashboard will now only show parent jobs unless a name filter has been applied.
    • Child jobs can be accessed from the parent by ⋮  > view n child jobs or by selecting View Child Jobs in Job Details.
    • Parent jobs are no longer indicated in italics. They are now denoted by the type column.
    • Batch actions, via check box selection, can now be taken against parent jobs
    • A new status of split has been introduced. Parent jobs will show split after a child job has been created. This was previously shown as completed.
  • Job Details
    • Additional fields, department and printer, have been added to the Job Details panel.
    • Job Details can now be accessed via the Action menu in addition to the existing method (clicking anywhere on job record).
  • Reports
    • An All Print Jobs report has been added.
    • Report date headings have now been standardised.
    • User filter dropdown now shows name and userid. This is sorted by surname, firstname.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Organisation and departmental reporting users can now filter on all printers.

  • Improvement in recipient display
    • Docbox now screens for "standard protection phrases" such as Private & Confidential and removes these from the dashboard display allowing the recipient name to be seen in the recipient column
    • Note: This is for display purposes only. The full address still includes the phrase such as “private & confidential”.  The document content is NOT altered. The full address is visible in the Job Details window.
  • Ability to choose to display either PDF title or filename in dashboard title column
