Docbox requires users to authenticate at regular intervals. By default, sessions expire 12 hours after your last login, which means you will typically be prompted to log in again at the start of each working day.
This is intentional behaviour. The session timeout is a security measure that ensures Docbox does not remain accessible indefinitely on an unattended machine.
Print Driver users
If you use the Docbox Print Driver, you may notice the login prompt appears when you start your PC, when you attempt to print, or when your session has expired since you last logged in. This is normal. Log in using your usual Docbox credentials to continue.
If your session seems to expire more frequently than expected
Your organisation may have configured a shorter session timeout to meet its security requirements. Contact your Docbox administrator if you believe the timeout period needs to be adjusted.
Administrators can review and update the session timeout setting in the Control Panel under System Settings.
