Email Notifications

Docbox can optionally send email notifications to users 

  • when a print job is quarantined
  • when a user, that is not the job owner, cancels or deletes a print job

The notification is sent to the user that has submitted the job (job owner).

  • from the print driver or dashboard, it is the logged in user
  • from Docbox File Agent, it will be user who created the token 

Quarantine notification emails are sent during working hours, on the hour and provide a digest notification listing all failed jobs submitted by the user since the last email was sent. 

The action email notifications (cancel, delete) are sent to the job owner immediately. 

If email notifications are disabled, users will not be informed that a print job has failed unless they log into the dashboard.
