Storage requirements vary depending on the average size of your documents, daily submission volumes, submission delay settings, and data retention periods. Use the table below to estimate your requirements based on a working month of storage. We recommend using thin provisioning and overestimating to allow for growth.

Figures assume 23 working days per month and a submission delay of less than one day. Data retention is configurable via the Control Panel.
Docbox Dashboard (Users)
The Docbox Dashboard is browser-based and requires no software installation for end users. The following browsers are supported:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox (including the latest ESR release)
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari (macOS)
We recommend using the latest available version of your chosen browser. Only versions released within the last year are officially supported.
Other browsers such as Opera or Brave may work but are not officially tested or supported by CFH.
Email Notifications (optional)
If you wish to use Docbox email notifications, an SMTP relay must be accessible from the Docbox server. This can be an on-premises mail server or a cloud-based SMTP relay service. Docbox connects to the relay using standard SMTP with optional TLS encryption.
